FAQ's

Here are some common questions we receive from advisers:

Q: What Service can you provide?

​

A: The answer to this is whatever level of service you need. Anything from a full paraplanning service where we make the recommendations and write your report, or just a report writing service.

Q: Who is responsible for the advice?

​

A: You are. Assured Paraplanning is not regulated by the FCA. We never forget that you are the adviser and the client is your client. We are merely here to assist and make your life easier and more profitable.

Q: What information do you need to provide a report?

​

A: Depending on the level of service you require (ie full recommendation service or pure report writing) we would usually need a completed factfind, policy information, attitude to investment risk, policy information.

Q: What is your turnaround time for reports?

​

A: If we have all information we need then reports can to provided within 5-7 working days. We also offer an additional express service for those reports which are needed more urgently.

Q: Can you incorporate company branding?

​

A: Yes we can. It is important that the reports reflect your own and your company's style. We work with you to ensure that this is done. We have also worked with clients (on request) to 'brand' their reports by colouring headings and tables into company colours and where required designing a suitable layout for bespoke reports. We can of course incorporate your logo as required.

Q: What format will my reports take?

A: We will send you your report as a word document so that you are free to amend this as required.

Q: What areas do you cover?

​

A: We can assist you with all areas of financial planning (savings investments, pensions, protection). We also have additional specialist knowledge in investments, full financial planning, charity and trustee clients as well as those in the medical profession.

Q: What about Data protection?

​

A: Assured Paraplanning is registered under the Data Protection Act

 

Q: How is information exchanged?

​

A: As we work remotely, we prefer to work on a paperless basis. Files are usually exchanged electronically using a secure remote file sharing system but we can also exchange documents via email if you would prefer.
